About The Author

I am a first-year student of Biomedical Sciences at Wits University. My goal is to become either a psychiatrist or a neuroscientist and study the human mind. The reason I want to do this is because I feel that there is not nearly enough research done on the workings of the human mind and since mental health is becoming an increasingly relevant aspect of overall health, I do believe further research in this field could prove useful for the general population.

I believe that my strengths include creativity and curiosity. My weaknesses include pessimism and sometimes an unwillingness to work on things that I do not find interesting or stimulating.

Apart from my academic goals I am also an avid reader of the literature of the romanticists, and I enjoy painting and sketching in my free time.
